Promspired!
Prom season is upon us. Our designers have been busy with some very exciting modern boutonniere and corsage designs for Prom 2014.
We’ve come up with boutonnieres that a flower-phobic guy would actually want to wear like this succulent and bamboo combo. The matching corsage would work well with this year’s modern trend.
These brown Cymbidium orchids are also man-friendly. Again, I hear the modern trend calling. This would look great with a neutral like cream, champagne or even coral and gold print, like one of my favorites from Terani Couture.
Our ode to springtime in Texas. This blue and green corsage is really adorable with a gown of either color. Thistle makes a handsome, fun boutonniere, too.
And as popular as ever are the traditional jewel tones. We’ve seen a lot of requests to match Sapphire blue prom dresses this year.
There really is no end to how creative you can be with corsages and boutonnieres. We like using actual bracelets instead of throw away bands so you can have a keepsake of the magical night forever. A little extra bling is NEVER a bad thing!
A burgeoning Prom 2014 trend is hand held bouquets and matching boutonnieres. It’s hot in Dallas, and gradually picking up steam in other areas. Not sure if it has any staying power in Austin. What do you think?
